Artist Story Time: Olivia Candela

We are so excited to welcome local author Olivia Candela at Lark & Owl Booksellers for a super fun story time with her book, BUSTER THE CATDOG FINDS A HOME!

About the Book: The searching of a family and home was hard but this nameless cat never gave up, he acted like the dogs of the house to fit in but "No matter what I do they still don't like me" he would say. After finding a forever home he discovered love of family, home and of self. Now with a new name Buster proudly found his authentic self and proudly acted like a cat that sometimes responded like a dog, after all he was Buster the Catdog.

About the Author: Olivia Candela is a graduate of Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, TX with a B.S. in Elementary Educations and M.Ed / English as a Secondary Language. She lives in the Austin area and loves storytelling and encouraging reading for fun!

Olivia hopes Buster's story delights and shows how tenacity makes you stronger and how sharing your true self can bring true acceptance.
