We are so excited to welcome local author Gloria Reyes at Lark & Owl Booksellers for a super fun story time with her book, A JOYFUL PUMPKIN SHARES A FEAST WITH FRIENDS and RIO'S PAWS FOR HOPE!

RSVPing is not required to attend the story time but does help us get a more accurate head count!

About the Books:

A Joyful Pumpkin: With a slight chill in the air, this heartwarming celebration of a pumpkin’s life invites you to read it again and again. Pumpkins take their place on porches, steps, and walkways, lighting up the season with character and charm. A cheerful friend graces the porch of a neighborhood home with her beauty and kindness. She invites her friends for a final feast.  From the meadows, tall grasses, shady trees, and winding paths, none would miss such a gathering. Together they celebrate as she offers the only treasure she has - her warm and giving heart.  She reminds us to cherish the beauty around us and to hold our friends close.  For caring never ends, and true friends never fade away.

Rio's Paws for Hope: Get ready for another heartwarming story from author Gloria Reyes.  This time, meet Rio -- a pup with a rough start and a fiery temper.  He's wary of people and other dogs, bouncing from home to home. But everything changes when he meets his forever family -- and an elderly dog who welcomes him like a lifelong friend.  Rio shows us that even the toughest beginnings can lead to the brightest futures. Just when things start to look up, a new challenge puts his strength and spirit to the test.
