Patrick will be signing his book at Lark and Owl Booksellers from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, December 12th.

About the Author: Patrick J. Williams is an emerging voice in literary fiction, combining vivid storytelling with themes of humanity’s deepest struggles. Inspired by the relatable fears and excitement of new stages in life; including the graduation from the protected world of college and being thrust into the unknown, combined with heartbreak and a yearning for purpose, Patrick brings a fresh perspective to stories that bridge the gap between the real and the extraordinary. A Revelation is his debut novel, highlighting his talent for crafting emotionally resonant and thematically rich narratives.

Previous published work includes Soup Attempt for the Soul in Thanksgiving Tales: True Stories of the Holiday in America, Brian D. Jaffe, 2010; and God on Trial in Where the Mind Dwells, Eber & Wein Publishing.

About the Book: “He looked up. A human shape hung there, wings working slow and steady. Silence pressed down. One scream cracked it — and the world went dark.”

What if grief was only the beginning — and the end of the world was closer than anyone believed?

Reeling from heartbreak and drowning in alcohol-fueled nights, a once-promising college leader struggles just to face another day. His only anchor is Jersey, the loyal black cat who refuses to leave his side. But when a run through Philadelphia ends with an impossible vision — a winged figure suspended in the sky — his private collapse collides with a revelation that could upend reality itself.

As whispers spread, loyalties fracture, and the line between the ordinary and the divine begins to blur, he is thrust into a choice that will shape not only his future, but the fate of everyone around him.

Gritty, haunting, and unexpectedly tender — a story of loss, resilience, and the terrifying beauty of a truth too big to ignore.
